REMAIN TRUE TO YOURSELF, BUT MOVE EVER UPWARD

W H Y   T H E R A P Y ?

On the outside looking in it seems like you have it all together. But really you're in survival mode, wondering why it seems easier to everyone else. You feel alone, like you're losing your mind. You are constantly looking out for the needs of others, to the point where you neglect your own basic needs. You have no idea where your illness ends and where you start. Each day feels like you are battling different parts in your own mind, struggling to get even the bare minimum done. But each day you push through, hoping for relief. Your faith was once a reassurance, but you're beginning to question if there is even a God is listening...because it sure feels like no one is there.  Others may try to help. "Have you tried yoga?" they ask. "What if you just kept a to-do list?" they question. "It will pass" they attempt to soothe. You attempt to cope, but no matter what you try it seems you just can't escape.

Depression, anxiety, chronic health struggles, life challenges, and patterns of generational trauma are really good at convincing us that we are alone.  But that is a lie that only keeps us trapped and isolated, and allow me to tell you that

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
